I cannot think of an easier dish to make…I think I say that a lot but it’s true~these are simple and amazing; nothing more.  If you have all day then this is the recipe to add to your rotation…no excuses (well I guess if you do not eat pork…or any meat…missing anything else??)  I used to slather all the HFCS and processed BBQ but now I consider myself reborn…I eat them plain…there I said it!!  PLAIN…now in my humble opinion I believe they are way better because there is nothing to hide behind…just porky pig. Enjoy!!

  • 2 slabs of pastured raised babyback ribs
  • celtic sea salt
  • fresh cracked pepper


  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. 
  2. Season both side of your ribs and place in a roasting pan; tent very loosely with aluminum foil. 
  3. I cook mine all day 8-9 hours (sometimes I will drop the heat to 225 degrees about 6 hours into the cooking. 
  4. Theses are so tender and fall off the bone… it is almost too easy!!!  I serve with a big salad or just about anything because the ribs are plain you are not competing with heavy sauces  and/or spice.
