Ok…this is probably sleeper recipe Friday-BUT wait just one second~there could be (could) be just one person out there that is saying to themself “…hmmm I would make the perfect meal for date night if only I had an Italian dressing recipe…well guess not so no fun for me…” okay maybe not…or maybe-it’s a big world people..jk.  Anyway I do think this picture is kind of sucky but I was preoccupied  so this is what you are stuck with.  It is simple and it is tasty and you could use as a marinade as well.  I am just not a fan of store bought anything if I can help it…all those inflammatory ingredients (I am wagging my figure with a hand on my hip…just picture it~I am going mom-style…me how funny!)   • 6 TBS cold pressed extra virgin olive oil…or whatever you like
  • 4 TBS organic red wine vineagar…or what ever you like
  • 1 TBS minced organic shallot
  • 1/2 tsp organic basil
  • 1/2 tsp organic oregano
  • 1/4 tsp organic onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp organic garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp organic crushed red pepper
  • celtic sea salt
  • freshly cracked pepper


  1. I just use a mason jar with a lid…add all ingredients and shake~shake ~shake!!! This makes enough for one batch of salad…you can always make more. Have fun…your salad is
