Peppy~Sauce Roasted Pork Tenderloin

When it comes to pork tenderloin we pretty much keep it simple: salt, pepper, some kind of fat to sear it in and that’s it.  It is such a fast meal to throw together and so tender and juicy…here I used my peppy~sauce which lends a nice kick to the everyday – ever awe inspiring salt and pepper around my husband’s house-whoops I mean our house (ba-ha-ha-ha!!!) Enjoy!!

Peppy~Sauce Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin~silver skin removed
  • a knob of fat
  • salt and pepper~of course!
  • 2 TBS peppy~sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Using a large skillet preheated over medium high heat add your fat; once melted add the tenderloin that you have seasoned with salt and pepper. 
  3. Do not touch it for a couple of minutes (3 ish) then turn and sear the other side until it has a nice crust on it. 
  4. Transfer to a parchment lined sheet pan and brush on your sauce (cover all sides). 
  5. Cook about 40 minutes or until cooked through; remove and tent with foil so it can rest up a bit and not dry out.
