Super Easy Mushrooms

People either like mushrooms or they don’t. Now I love them…my hubby not so much but because I like them I make him like them too…it’s kinda of working??? I mean if he puts a few on his plate I feel that is great progress.  Now if you glance over to my plate it would be all the mushrooms with a bit of whatever else (unless crab cakes…remember my narcissistic issue with my crab perfection?) anyway these are super easy to make and as a result super delicious.  Enjoy!!

  • 12 oz organic mushrooms (I tend to use cremini and shiitake)
  • 1/4 cup grass fed butter
  • 4 oz (ish) of red wine
  • S & P to taste
  • 2 TBS of fresh chopped organic super healthy parsley


  1. I wipe all my mushrooms clean with a damp cloth. 
  2. In a large skillet over medium high heat I melt the butter and toss in my mushrooms that I have sliced or halved; let them go stirring often. 
  3. After they have lost most of their water content, I add the S & P and wine. 
  4. Cook until the mushrooms start to brown then reduce and continue cooking until they get even more golden brown and then finish off by tossing in your parsley.
